Learn the Olympic Sport of Rowing!
No experience necessary.
Co-ed camps for ages 12-18 (campers grouped by age, size and skill level).
Summer is the perfect opportunity to come out and give rowing a try! Most of our rowers had never even seen rowing before they came to this camp.
At the Atlanta Junior Rowing Association boathouse, we will offer five 2-week camps with morning or evening sessions this summer. During each two week camp, participants will learn the fundamentals of sweep rowing.
Additionally, each camper learns about the sport, equipment, terminology, and safety of moving boats on and off the water. We begin a basic workout program, and everyone participates in rowing both four- and eight-man shells on the Chattahoochee River.
